Missa in angustiis (Nelson Mass) by Joseph Haydn

Cantare Audire is thrilled to announce our upcoming production of Joseph Haydn’s Missa in Angustiis (Nelson Mass). We are joining forces with the Namibian National Symphony Orchestra (NNSO) under the baton of Ruben Viertel to bring this dramatic and virtuosic masterpiece to life in Windhoek in the National Theatre of Namibia.

We are currently inviting choir singers to join us for this project.

Rehearsal Schedule:
Rehearsals are every Tuesday night from 18h30 and we’re starting on Tuesday, 2 June 2026
(A detailed schedule will be provided to members that join)

Who are we looking for?

The Chorus:
We are looking for experienced singers (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass) to augment the choir.
Requirement: Ability to read music is highly recommended. You must be able to commit to at least 80% of the rehearsal schedule.
